British Masters 10 Mile Road Championships, Poole

The Lytchett 10 is a ten mile road race starting at Lytchett Minster Sports Centre, Post Green Rd, Lytchett Minster, Poole, Dorset BH16 6JD (See map below). The course is hilly and entirely on road and pavements.

Prizes in 10 year Age Categories

Race Distances = All Women plus Men aged 65 plus – 6k (3 laps)

All Men aged 35 to 64 years – 8k (4 laps)

Race Entry: – £5.00 per UKA registered athlete. (£7.00 unattached athlete)

Open Race Start – 2.15pm

British & Irish Masters Cross-Country International

Dear Masters Athlete,

Thank you for expressing an interest in being considered for selection for the England Masters cross country
team in connection with the International to be held at Southport, England on Saturday 16th November 2019.
Teams will be selected by a panel of selectors representing each Area Club of England. Selectors will take into
consideration performances at BMAF championship events, Cross Country, 5K and 10K road races. These
races will have a greater priority in the selection process so runners competing in these events will have a
stronger case for selection.

A flat, fast 5k part of the Evensplits York Series on the cycle circuit of York University. Definitely a pb course, open to all not just YVAA members too.

NMAC 5k Road Champs

The Brownlee Cycle Circuit

Bodington Playing Fields, Bodington Avenue, Adel, Leeds, LS16 8NA Off Otley Rd

Race Start 11.30am.

This is a closed road 3 lap course on tarmac around the 1 mile cycle circuit at the University of Leeds at the Bodington Campus. Changing and parking is available.

Final Entry List

Medals will be awarded to the first 3 in every age group but the race is open to all Masters athletes (ie strictly over 35s) and non members are welcome to run as guests.

British Masters Open Cross Country Relay Championships

A couple of miles each – open to all over 35s and entry is by club.

This event is a load of fun – plus if you get there early enough the parkrun in the same park is the flattest I know and lightening fast!!!

NMAC 10k Road Champs

Yet again Spenborough and District AC are allowing us to hold our 10k Road Championships as part of their Greenway 10k.

A flatish fast out and back course, traffic free on the disused railway is perfect for good times – and of course the host club are the frienliest around!!!

As for al our championship events – medals are available in every 5 year age category to FULLY PAID UP MEMBERS ONLY. Everyone else is welcome of course to run!!

ENTRIES: online BMAF OPEN TRACK 
FEES: £10 for BMAF members, £13 for OPEN master`s competitors
ENTRIES CLOSE: Wednesday September 11th
AGE GROUPS: Men and women, 5-year age categories

This event also incorporates the NEMAA 10,000m Championships for paid up NEMAA
members and is part of the NECAA/NEMAA Multi event championships

REGISTRATION: Number collection on the day, registration will close 45 minutes
before each race

Monkton Stadium is close to the A19 and routes to Newcastle (20 minutes). Site parking
costs 70p for the whole day. The nearest METRO station is JARROW followed by a 20
minutes’ walk
