Athletes’ results
First, Colin Spivey M90 who came away with 4 golds, from 400m,(1:46.77) 800m, (4:17.60), 1500m (8:50.36) and 5000m (32:11.27). 3 British and NMAC records in the first 3 . He tried the javelin too!

John Wright M65 sprinter . John was one of the top ranked age graded athletes of all who competed.
4x400m
He won the M65 100m(12.26), 200m (24.68 ) and 400m (56.36) by significant margins, getting close to his own World record in the 100m and 200m but hampered by the wind against him. His 400m was close to his British record with no one pushing him. In the 4x100m relay, with another NMAC athlete Andy Hunter he won another gold medal. The team broke the World record easily! In the 4x400m (see team above) he ran a storming last leg and the team won by over 16secs in a European record.

Steve Peters M70 sprinter
He won the M70 100m(13.29) comfortably, 200m (25.97)very easily and 400m (61.62), easily again but not enjoying it probably! However it was a British record. He added another gold in the 4×100 relay.
A truly remarkable athlete.
Darren Scott, M55 sprinter ( and organiser of our NMAC Track and Field Champs.)
Darren won the M55 100m (11.96) and 200m (23.88) by some margin. He also completed 4 events of the decathlon and got a silver medal in the mixed 4×400 relay in a British record.
Jo Rowland W35 –winner by ‘miles’
Jo first in W35 Heptathlon, Rebecca Perry on the right in 3rd position
Jo excelled by winning the W35 Heptathlon by a huge margin in a NMAC record 5120 points and also won the Shot Put with 13.54m, with a enormous margin of 1.54m! She competed with a torn abdominal muscle too- made of steel
Jed Turner M65 middle distance runner
Jed had a marvelous Championships , winning M65 1500m and coming 2nd in the 800m,in 4:56.78 and 2:22.56, both NMAC records.
Tracey Ashworth W50 sprinter
Tracey in the middle
Tracey won the W50 400m in 59.99, which was close to her NMAC record of 59.97 and came 2nd in the 200m(26.41). She also gained 2 silvers in the 4×100 and 4×400 mixedrelays.
Rebecca Perry W35,
Rebecca, a new member of NMAC won the W35 100m (12.3 against the wind) and came 3rd in the heptathlon ( 4352 points)
Dot Kesterton W70, 6 medals, including 3 individuals!
Silver in the 10k (50.24) and team Gold
Individual and team Bronze in the XC
Silver in Half marathon 1:52.24 and team W65 bronze
Tony O’Brien, M50 middle distance
Tony on the right, always a fierce competitor won a silver in the M50 5000m (16:06.64) and a silver team medal in the 10k Road race.
Carl Hardman M40 Silver in 5000m and bronze team medals in 10k Road and half marathon
Julie Hicken W60 sprinter (and NMAC secretary)
Julie won a wonderful bronze medal in the W60 200m, in 29.98 beating her own NMAC record. She also gained a silver in the 4×100 and was 4th in 100m final (14.59)
Mike Coogan M50 sprinter
Mike, on the right, ran powerfully to get 3rd in M50 200m in 23.59 and another 3rd in the 4×100
Lisa Gawthorne W40

Lisa 4th in the W40 10k (37.52) and got a gold in the W40 team 10k.
She also came 5th in W40 5000m in 18:17.04, just short of her recent NMAC record.
Louise Rowley W70 won a Individual Bronze and team gold in the 10k Road race in 51.15

Stephanie Fauset W40 won a team gold in the 10k, ran 41.56, came 7th W40
Vicky Penn W40 won a team silver in the W35 10k team, ran 43.56
Charlotte Woodger W40 won a team silver in the W35 10 team, ran 44.16

Hilary West W65 won gold in 4x400m and silver in 4×100 relays.
She also came 6th in W65 400m final(83.54), despite being told by doctors 
earlier in the season she wouldn’t run this year! She did a season’s best in the W65 200m semi final( 35.31)
Anita Saunders won 2 relay medals. She moved down an age group to help the W45 4×100 team win a silver medal and within her own age group won a bronze medal in the 4x400m relay
Naana Adusei W45 won relay silver 4×100(moving down to W40 age group). She narrowly missed making the 100m and 200m finals with outdoor season’s best
Alina on the right5th places went to: Angela Kelly W65 100m in 15.88, a great performance and 2nd in 4×100 (4th from left below)
James Scott Buccleuch M45 in the half Marathon in 1:16.25
Steve Linsell M60, 5th in M60 High Jump 1.50m, below form due to flu.
Caroline Marler W70 5th in shot put (8.01m)

Steve Doxey M60 very narrowly missed making the M60 1500m final coming 9th fastest, ran 5:33.09 and ran a season’s best in the 800m of 2:43.8 in the heats.
Hazel Barker W65 (2nd from the left below)13th in the Weights Pentathlon, half way down a strong field, with 2837 points. 
She came 11th in the Discus with 21.42m
