INDOOR INTER AREA 2025 LEE VALLEY

INTER AREA CHALLENGE LEE VALLEY FEBRUARY 16TH 2025-RESULTS
A small but very feisty NMAC team travelled south for the annual Inter Area challenge.
Final combined(men and women) scores:
MMAC 578
EMAC 542.5
SCVAC 534
VAC 492
WMA 434
NORTHERN MASTERS AC 346
SWVAC 201
NIMAA 184
SVHC 165.5
SO WE WERE 6TH OUT OF 9 TEAMS
The men’s team came 7th and the women’s team 6th.
Our athletes need congratulating for their attitude. Many did multiple or unusual events, without complaining. Fabulous group of people and it was nice seeing some children cheering on their parents .I enjoyed meeting members I hadn’t met before, always a nice thing and wonderful to catch up with the regulars.
Paul Barlow put in a huge amount of work getting the team together, for which we are all very grateful. Carol Holt backed him up,sorted out technical problems and provided huge support on the day.
I just wish we could get more athletes wanting to take part as we have a huge pool of really good runners, jumpers and throwers.
If any of you think you have broken a NMAC record let me know. I know Margo Duncan W55 broke the pole vault record for that age group , well done !
